Rex Bushman

For the last 26 years, attorney Rex Bushman has been practicing law in the Salt Lake Valley, helping his clients navigate legal situations. He recently moved his office from downtown Salt Lake City to his home in Taylorsville. Rex says that has allowed him to cater to the local clientele on the west side of the valley.

“I have experience in almost every area of the law over the last 26 years,” Rex says. “I am willing to represent the community in all areas of the law.”

The office is conveniently located at 898 West 4800 South and is easily accessible from the I-15 4500 South exit. Because Rex works from his home, he’s available most days to receive phone calls and speak to clients. If clients do have to leave a message, he can usually respond back to them the same day.

Rex started his law career working with collections, divorce and criminal defense. He said over the last 26 years his practice has evolved into contract and property litigation including the prosecution of civil fraud. He can usually advise clients over the phone if they need an attorney. He also works with estate planning and litigation that requires going to court for resolution.

Rex’s informal approach to the law helps his clients feel at ease. Because legal matters can be very stressful, he tries to help his clients understand all aspects of their cases and make the process a little easier.

“I try to provide encouragement for my clients and relieve some of the stress they might be feeling,” Rex says. “By advising them about favorable outcomes, clients don’t have to feel overwhelmed.”

Attention to his clients’ needs is one of Rex’s biggest priorities so he doesn’t have a practice larger than he can handle.

“I only take the cases I can adequately represent to give my clients the best resource,” he says.
