155 days ago486 views

Local singer and winner of numerous awards, Bonnie Harris, will perform Christmas classics at the free Christmas Winter Concert, Monday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. The concert will be held at the Utah Cultural Celebration Center, 1355 West 3100 South, and is free to the public.

This annual concert, now in its 15th year in West Valley City, has been a staple in the community. Take a break from the Christmas rush and relax with Bonnie’s soothing alto voice. This family-friendly concert is the perfect way to remember the good times of Christmases past.

This year Bonnie is celebrating her 2011 CD release, featuring 1940s Big Band Jazz. The CD will be available for purchase at the concert.

While at the concert, stop by the Trees of Diversity exhibition, featuring trees decorated by Utah’s ethnic minority arts communities. The exhibition also includes nativities from around the world, including art pieces, nutcrackers, gingerbread houses, special holiday store window scenes and wreaths.
