Artist to hold "Open Studio" night
Peter Firth, a local fine art photographer, will be participating in a Group Exhibit at Artspace Commons (824 South 400 West in Salt Lake City) during its "Open Studio Night" on Jan. 21, from 6-9 p.m.
Titled "Urban Texture: Visualizing the Ordinary," Firth's images are a collection of metaphors that makes present those ordinary objects and locations that otherwise get passed by unnoticed by everyone in their daily lives.
Firth, who has had numerous one-man and group shows in Utah, as well as other areas of the country, and whose photographic art is included in museum and private collections in Los Angeles, New York and Portland, Ore., is honored to be included in this forthcoming exhibit along with Cat Palmer, Sabina Zunguze and other fine artists.
